For professional remediators

Make a PDF accessible — design preserved

Drop any PDF. We tag it in place — keeping the design pixel-identical — adding a full reading order, headings, and alt text, then validate it with veraPDF and hand back the accessible file and its PDF/UA-1 report. It’s the same “preserve formatting” engine as Gevell PDF.

What you get

One clean, accessible PDF that looks exactly like the original — plus its validation report.

  • Design preserved pixel-for-pixel

Tags are added in place — the page renders identically. Nothing is reflowed, recolored, or moved.

  • Full reading order & structure

A complete tag tree with headings, lists, tables, and paragraphs, so assistive tech reads the document in the right order.

  • Alt text for images

Meaningful images are described with AI-assisted alt text; decorative art is marked as an artifact and skipped.

  • Scanned pages recognized

Image-only or scanned PDFs are OCR-recognized so their text becomes real, tagged, selectable content.

  • Links, tables & notes wired up

Link descriptions, table header scopes, and footnote references are filled in so navigation resolves correctly.

  • PDF/UA-1 validated

The result is checked against the veraPDF PDF/UA-1 reference validator, and you get the full report.

What we never do

We never change how your document looks, and we never stamp a PDF/UA-1 conformance claim it hasn’t earned. Conformance is decided by the validator, not asserted by us. When a document has gaps that need design changes — small text, low contrast — we tell you and point you to the full remediation pipeline instead of pretending they’re fixed.
